Gilda Posada is from Southeast Los Angeles, CA. She received her A.B. from the UC Davis in Chicana/o Studies and Comparative Literature.

Her interests and research are based on the methodologies, framework and practice of Chicana/o Art. Gilda seeks to understand the Chicana/o art production through an art-historical lens and the curating effects of how the culture’s understanding and formulation were shaped.

Gilda is a second year dual degree candidate at California College of the Arts in the MFA Social Practice program and the Visual and Critical Studies program.
